How do I submit COREP: What do I need to do?

Affected firms need to ensure they have a plan to tackle their COREP reporting, including:

• Updates to systems and processes to ensure the firm is capable of meeting the new reporting requirements and in the correct XBRL format;
• Review the processes and controls of data that needs to be collated and ensure that the accuracy and timeliness of drafted reports has been taken into account; and
• Ensure that those at management  level have taken on responsibility for regulatory reporting.
