What is the GABRIEL Regulatory Reporting System?

GABRIEL is a system employed by the Financial Conduct Authority for enabling regulated firms to submit their regulatory reporting online.

Introduced during 2008, GABRIEL aims at GAthering Better Regulatory Information ELectronically and making reporting easier for regulated firms to omprove the accuracy of information collected by the regulator.

GABRIEL is the system for which COREP reports must be uploaded in the standardised XBRL format for submission.
