When is COREP Effective?

The new COREP reporting regime is effective from 1st January 2014, from which the UK regulatory authorities - the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) – have mandated that all regulated organisations in the United Kingdom use COREP to make their regular statutory reports.

COREP will apply to all firms who are regulated under BIPRU, (the regulator’s prudential sourcebook for Banks, Building Societies and Investment Firms) that are subject to CRD IV.
